It's pathetic how Discovery networks which once had quality documentary programming in the 1990's de evolved into broadcasting NOTHING but fake reality/trash tv shows over the past twenty years. I don't get it why they still have that shark week series running every year and yet after 2003 they cancelled their old memorial day amusement park/rollercoaster shows that used to air starting in 1997 through 2003? Certainly science based shows like shark week should no longer fit into their scripted reality show business model and yet they still keep it? TLC has become a sick joke as well. The network started off being known as "The Learning Channel" (hence the acronym of "TLC" but there hasn't been ANY educational programming on this network in going on 20 years as well,instead it has be come nothing but scripted reality shows geared towards the female audience of stay at home housewives and WHAT is with the network's rather unhealthy obsession with all things Alaska? It must be because of Sarah Palin when she crawled out of her igloo in 2008 since TLC did giv her her very own failed fake reality show shortly afterwards

I had a 1973 Fiat 124 spider. Best handling car I have ever driven. Mine would overheat in the summer time(I was stationed at Ft Hood Tx.) unless I had the heater running full blast.

I'm glad to hear that when I was sitting through those tedious hours and hours of discovery channel adverts, that the revenue was actually going towards keeping the bomb squads sweet, and the show going, not just lining a board of director's pockets xD

"Bomb squads are mythbusters" While not on a bomb-squad, the main thing I did as a pyrotechnitian and a pyrotechnitian educator was going out and testing blowing things up and setting things on fire to know what the explosives/fires would do and passing that on to the people I was educating. It wasn't standard as I exceeded budgets and people's hours on several ocasions but I hope that it at least instilled some knowledge and respect for explosives in the people I taught, and that I can thank growing up on mythbusters for. Also I was and still am deathly afraid of explosions so I also took the oppurtunity to try to beat it out of myself.

My ex-wife used to work for Fiat of America in Burlingame. She was responsible for the VOR report. Vehicle OFF Road, meaning, the car was waiting on a part to get repaired. The parts came by container ship from Italy. The report was pages and pages and pages long. So the cars may have been great, but in the US, you may have had to wait for months for a critical part to get you back on the road. This was probably 40 years ago, but Fix It Again Tony was even a joke at the mother ship.

there are always going to be intelligent questions about Mythbusters. it was so unique in every aspect. You taught us to question life and learn how things work. just the logistics and behind the scenes can teach so much. P.S. I love the first episodes and the pilot where you guys literally have no idea what you are doing

Honestly that last bit about cleaning up the mess you make will go miles for people. Even more so when you just do it and you do it to a level that is beyond expectation. I made a ton of great professional relationships by merely making sure the messes I made were gone by the time I left. Makes people more willing to work with you when they know they won't be left to pay the bill by themselves so to speak.

Bombsquads disarming bombs.... I mean.. its like.. you have to have such a good understanding of electronics... We do not give enough respect to the knowledge required to SAFELY disarm a bomb. Usually to be honest though.. most bombs are "disposed" meaning detonated under safe conditions. This makes them VERY good for working with this show and making sure all experiments are done in a safe manner with little to no damage to the surroundings.

Working the last 30 years for a large(est) municipality in the Bay Area, the last 12 years in a department that issues certain types of permits, the relationship you had to acquire these permits in short order, while going through proper procedures, those aforementioned hoops, is astounding. Kudos to producer Linda cuz that aint easy...Its not out of the question, and strong relationships that usually take a while to cultivate and harvest are KEY! You were blessed.

Anyone who's ever built or put together anything knows that sometimes you just need to cuss at or about what your doing, my aquarium filter is a son of a bitch and every time I have to clean it it turns into a muffled cuss fest building anything with pre drilled holes I can guarantee you've cussed at those at least once because theirs always one little bugger of a hole that's not alligned with its counterpart and you have to force a bolt through it anyways cussed out some tables we helped the school put together because some of the holes drilled through the metal had fucking metal shavings melted into the holes and we had to screw a bolt through that with godamn hand tools and the little dinky allen keys that come with stuff like that... Still wish they would've just bought the raw materials and set us to work in the shop with the woodworking tools wouldn't have had to deal with the bullshit of forcing a semi bent piece of metal to lie flat by standing on it as the drilled holes and then put the bolts through the holes to hold it flat to the underside of the table

Fix it again, Tony! I had a 81 Alfa Romeo Spider 2000 GT Veloce. It had the 2.0 Fiat twin cam with dual Webber side draft carbs. It sounded great, and was a lot of fun to drive. My friends kind of made fun and called me 006 (it was silver). Edit: dunno if I needed to, but I did drive it like I was angry at it.

There was a woman in today’s newspaper that found something on the beach and posted it to find out what it was one person suggested it was ambergris and suggested stick a hot needle in it and if it smokes so she did soon as she did this it caught fire she threw it in the sink and ran out the house it turned out to be an old hand-grenade but it caught fire and did not explode. It burned all the area around her sink and a lot of smoke damage but no one got hurt.

OMG I looked at the CashApp ONE time in the Play Store and now it's the ONLY ad I see on KGpost. Dear God, why are devs that handle the ad algorithms for Google so stupid? WHY?!
